1. Errant

Class : Adjective
Meaning : traveling in search of adventure..

Synonyms: wandering, rambling
Antonyms : controlled, obedient

Example Sentences

  • Lesser women would have cut their errant husband adrift.
  • Unless we punish errant husbands, this abuse will continue.

2. Construed

Class : Verb
Meaning : interpret (a word or action) in a particular way.

Synonyms: clarified, elucidated
Antonyms : complicated, confused

Example Sentences

  • This should not be construed as a lack of interest in this offer of funding.
  • The washing of dishes and the preaching of the word could both be construed as material expressions of devotion.
